Merry Christmas Card II (LMMS Inspiration)

Merry Christmas!! :o)

It's Little Miss Muffet Stamps Inspiration Week and I made this one layer, Merry Christmas II Card. :o)

For my card I used a super cute image LMM's Forgotten Scraps 'Polka Dot Pals Brianna' digital stamp. Look at that puppy... adorable!! :o)

I also used a font I downloaded from dafontImpact Label Font. Love it!! :o)
Important: Read licences before downloading.

I made a layout on my computer and printed it out directly on a card base, for which I used Canson XL Mixed Media 300 g Paper.

watercolored the image with Distress Inks and highlighted some parts with withe gel pen. Then I printed a sentiment on a white cardstock paper, cut it out, colored edges with black marker and got lovely label, as if I had label maker. I glued 3-D foam on the label and placed it on the card.

Lastly, I embellished the card with enamel dots and my card was finished. :o)

Card dimensions: 95 mm x 130 mm (3 3/4" x 5 1/8")

Merry Christmas Card (Fairy Tale Challenge #158)

      Hi everyone! :o)

Today a new challenge started at Fairy Tale Challenge Blog, our last challenge this year.

Our theme for this fortnight is #158, Hangeschriebener Winter / Handwritten Winter. Make a winter project with handwritten sentiment. You are also allowed to use sentiment stamp that looks like handwritten.

This time our lucky winner will win these two clear stamps. :o)

And here is what I came up with: CAS (clean and simple), Merry Christmas Card. :o)

For my card I used ADORABLE reindeer from Mama Elephant 'Reindeer Games' stamp set and sentiment from  Apple Blossom 'Happy Santa' stamp set.

Image is paper pieced. First I stamped a sentiment and reindeer directly on a top folded card base and colored the reindeer with black marker. Then I stamped the reindeer on a watercolor paper, colored him in watercolor technique with Distress Inks, fussy cut, colored edges with black marker and softened him with stylus ball. Lastly, I glued the colored reindeer over the reindeer stamped on the card base, covered his muzzle and medallion on his collar with gloss resin to create glossy accents and my card was finished. :o)

      Card dimensions: 95 mm x 133 m(3 3/4" x 5 1/4")

        Winter Fashion Mouse Card

        Hello everyone! :o)

Today I want to share with you this CAS (clean and simple), one layer, Winter Fashion Mouse Card.

For my card I used super cute Jane's Doodles 'Winter Wishes' stamp set.

For a card base I used Canson XL Mixed Media Paper.

stamped a mouse directly on the card base and drew plaid pattern on it's scarf with black fine marker. I colored ground and shade around the mouse and then mouse in watercolor technique using Distress Inks (only two colors).

After drying, I stamped snowflakes around the mouse with Distress Ink Hickory Smoke. To get lighter snowflakes tones, I wash them out with water (I have no idea if this is a right term for what I did).

Lastly, using white gel pen, I highlighted the scarf and my card was finished.

Vintage Warm Wishes Card (Jane's Doodles DT Spotlight)

            Happy Friday! :o)

Today was my turn to be on the spotlight over at Jane's Doodles and I made this monochrome, one layer, Vintage Warm Wishes Card.

To make this card, I used three Jane's Doodles stamp sets: 'Coffee Time', 'Winter Wishes' and 'Mr. & Mrs. Claus'.

For a card base I used Canson XL Mixed Media Paper. Some stamping and masking directly on the card base and my coffee winter scene was built. I also stamped a sentiment on the card base.

I colored the card in watercolor technique using only one Distress Ink Color: Ground Espresso. As a finishing touch I splattered the card with same Distress Ink.

            Card dimensions: 101 mm x 101 mm (4" x 4")

            List of supplies:

I'm very satisfied how my card turned out. I achieved Vintage look, just as I wanted. :o) While I was making this card I had on my mind a friend crafter, coffee lover, so I made it for her. I hope she'll like it. :o)

I am linking my card to the 2016 Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop
