Merry Christmas from Mini Santa Card

Hi everyone! :o)

Today I'm sharing with you couple of Christmas cards I made this week.

Merry Christmas from Mini Santa Card is the second card I'm sharing today. If you missed the first one, just scroll down or follow a direct link here.

All elements on this card are from an awesome Create a Smile 'Snow Dance' kit. :o)

First I made a panel. I cut a designer paper and made snowflakes using stencil and structure paste. I left it dry one day.

Image is paper pieced. I used 4 stamped images, 3 stamped on a watercolor paper and one on the designer paper. I colored Santa's face with colored pencils and shaded his beard with light gray colored pencil. I used dry paper stump to blend colors in to paper. I colored Santa's boots with black permanent pen. After coloring, I fussy cut parts I needed, colored edges with black Stabilo pen, softened all pieces with a stylus ball on a soft working mat, glued all pieces together and added final touches with a white pen.

At the end, I glued the panel on a white card base, glued 3-D foam pads behind Santa and placed him on the card, glued few enamel stickers and my card was finished. :o)

Card dimensions are 101 mm x 133 mm (4" x 5 1/4").

    4. Awwww, this little Santa looks fabulous in blue and green too, well done Milka. You've gone to a lot of trouble to paper piece the little suit, but it was definitely worth the work. I'm very impressed that you stencilled all those gorgeous snowflakes onto your card... they look awesome! I love the background paper on this one too.
      Cheers,
      Beccy
